A week ago I wrapped up a whirlwind teaching tour in Australia. After a nearly three year hiatus from teaching in person, it was wonderful to get back at it! My students created unbelievably good work, and I couldn't be more proud of them all. I did manage to sneak in a bit of fun here and there though, as all work and no play makes for really dull blogs: wine tasting, crab eating, visiting dear friends, and spending a wee bit of time with my beau. I got to love up some pets, eat incredible food, visit a botanical gardens, and enjoy a couple pints at my favourite rooftop bar in Sydney. It was way too short, but after such a long time away, my visit was sweetness itself.
