Once in awhile I get a custom order that just feeds my soul. I was so tickled when my young cousin, Makenna, messaged me the politest message asking me to create a pendant for her upcoming graduation. I was given carte blanche as to what I could make, which is pretty much the way to bring out the absolute best in anyone, especially perfectionistic me. I was given a photo of her dress, and nothing more. When I saw the photo, I I relished the challenge that the obvious design presented.

This is one of my favourite pieces I think I've ever made, and dang, she looks FIERCE wearing it. Look out world, Makenna is coming for you.
