"Climbing"

6" by 7" - Smalti, glass, copper, millefiori, marble
I had really been anticipating this looking more wing-like, and I was going to name it, well, "Wing". But when I looked at it again, it wasn't quite what I had envisioned. Now I think it looks like a topographical map, so "Climbing" seemed appropriate. I guess I'll have to try again for the wing.

Another mosaic I am drawn to! I like the cool whites and light greens. Are there bits of copper in there? Reminds me not to throw anything away. I'm glad to know that what you envision isn't always what happens in the mosaic.
