I haven't created a piece like this in a very long time, where I use less mosaic gold and background of semi precious stones to fill in. It's always a lot of fun to revisit an older style and play with it again. This is one of the projects from my new online course, Elevated Mosaic Jewelry, and it's a really fun and accessible design to do. Using the semi precious means a lot less cutting, but still produces a polished result, so if some of the projects in the course seem a bit daunting, know that there are pieces I demonstrate at all levels!
