As I'm sure you've likely figured out, one of the reasons I travel is for the food. Sure, in this era I can get any type of cuisine I want in most major cities, but food somehow tastes better when it is made from the local produce and products that have been growing somewhere for centuries. So while I'll eat Thai food anywhere, as I love it, but no where do I love it as much as in Thailand. I've spent over 10 weeks in Thailand over the course of three trips, and there is now a list of dishes that must make their way into my stomach whenever I'm back. I actually had a mental eating schedule the last time I was there! 

One of the dishes I always have is red curry. Preferably more than once. It's freaking delicious. When I was last in Thailand I had this amazing rendition with duck, which made it even more of a treat. I also love how everything is beautifully plated in Thailand. They obviously believe, as I do, that you eat with your eyes before you eat with your mouth.
