I'm headed back to Greece in two days, and am very much looking forward to seeing some green! As much as I have loved Egypt, it is dry, dusty, and basically barren...it is a desert after all. I have seen pictures taken by friends on the island, and it seems so green and in full bloom, which will seem miraculous to see not only after the sojourn here in Egypt, but also because the island itself is rather brown and rocky rather than lush. I can't wait to see Santorini "decked out" as it were.
