This is the first of 6 mosaics in a series of mosaics exploring the use of texture. These pieces are designed to be examples for my upcoming classes in California. I'll be teaching in Oakland, Santa Barbara, and LA in the month of June. I've really been enjoying coming up with unusual mosaic texture concepts to share with my students.
