"Mardi Gras" - SOLD

6" by 7" - Glass, Lapis lazuli, quartz, amber

A number of people really liked "Layered" from a couple days ago, so I thought I'd try the concept again. It's quite a lot of fun to see what happens when you layer glass. My husband thought this looked very festival-like, so we named it "Mardi Gras". Tomorrow it's back to marble. I start feeling a little weird when I haven't used any in a while.

By the way, does anyone know what the metal thingy from yesterday's "space ship" is?
