"Egypt Rising"- SOLD

5" by 9" - Mexican and Eco Smalti, mosaic gold, marble

This piece was one that I envisioned while napping that turned out completely different than in my brain. As I worked, the mosaic seemed to take on an Ancient Egyptian-esque feel. As so much of Egypt's monuments were built from sandstone, I felt it only fitting to finish it off in large blocks of sand colored marble.
